Ned's First Christmas

Last year we got our Christmas tree from IKEA. Though it looked great and smelled great, it dropped needles ALL OVER THE PLACE! In our family we are known to give names to nearly everything. It was no surprise then that we named our Christmas tree. So what do you call a tree with needles everywhere? You call him Ned Needlelander of course. Chloe loved Ned like a member of the family. She would give him a hug almost daily. She would often reflect on Ned especially whenever we'd see other evergreens, but this was the first drawing--a summer reflection of what good old Neddie looked like back in December.
