California

We're finally back from a long extended vacation and getting caught up in the blog world. Here are some pictures from our trip. Chloe's favorite part of California was playing with her cousin, Penny. Here they are in real life:

This picture is called, "Ocean Cousins". They are both wearing their bathing suits and playing in the fingery waves of the ocean. Penny is technically a white girl but is quite tan thus she is portrayed as a "brown girl". She doesn't really have blonde hair either but she doesn't have much hair so when the sun shines through it, it does seem really light.

Chloe had a great time playing with Penny. They were really cute together. They wanted to play all the time. Penny was like a mini Chloe clone. Everything Chloe did she wanted to do. There were many things to keep them busy together from playing with the Littlest Pet Shops to picking oranges in the backyard to running coo-koo around grandma's house with all the cousins and driving poor Grandma crazy. ;-)

Here is one called, "Orange Tree in CA" (how clever). She is apparently picking oranges with her arms while wearing some Michael Cooper socks.
We had a great time there. We already miss the weather.

Chloe drew this in September but I wanted to include it here:

"This is me and my cousin and my little cousin, Penny. Now she is 3. We are playing in the sprinklers at Grandma and Grandpa's house in California. In the summer me and Penny played together all the time. It was so much fun."
