Ikea

Is it just us who love Ikea so much? We go there almost every weekend if for no other reason than just to splurge on a $0.50 hot dog. If you've never been to Ikea, well this is what it looks like--only their "a" is in a big font like the rest of the letters. ;-)

"Ikea"

"This is a store called, “Ikea”. They have food, decorations, couches and toys. Ikea is a big store that is blue and yellow. It is a very great place."

Recently Chloe has gotten some fun stuff at Ikea. One is a cardboard puppet show. She uses her pet shops or finger puppets to come up with all these elaborate stories. I tried to video one of the shows but it didn't really work out. Anyway, here's one of the puppet show. It is so aptly titled, "Puppet Show"

"This is my Puppet Show. I painted it all by myself. You would be so surprised if you saw the puppet show in real life. It is a puppet show about a bee and a frog, this is the story:

The frog was hungry and he saw the bee. He thought it was a fly and tried to catch it but the bee stinged his tongue. Then he knew what a bee was and he didn’t try to eat it. He hopped up closer to it and the bee said, ‘Sorry’ and then they became best friends."

"Trumpet"

They have these bins at Ikea with little tiny stuffed animals for $0.79. This was one Chloe had been pining over for a while, a little elephant.

“This is one of my littlest stuffed animals. It is an elephant that I named, as you see, ‘Trumpet’."
